You can reach the lake using forest roads. One road runs north-south along the Saint-Cyr River South. Another road goes east-west, connecting to the Bailly Lake Biodiversity Reserve.
The lake's surface usually freezes from early November to mid-May. It's generally safe to walk or play on the ice from mid-November to mid-April.
