Bakeapple Barren Northeast is a cool peak in Canada. It's found in the beautiful Cape Breton Highlands on Cape Breton Island. This peak is super important because it's the third highest point in the entire province of Nova Scotia. It's also the second highest spot in Inverness County, Nova Scotia, right after a place called The Pinnacle (Cape Breton).

This peak sits on a high, flat area called the Cape Breton Highlands plateau. It's about 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) northeast of a town called Cheticamp. It's also about 24 kilometers (14.9 miles) northwest of Ingonish. You can find this peak inside the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. This park is famous for its amazing scenery and wildlife.
How to Reach the Peak
Bakeapple Barren Northeast is a pretty wild and remote spot. You can only get there by hiking. It's a flat hill that rises from a marshy, windy area. This spot is quite far from roads and trails. It's about 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) from the closest road. It's also 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from any hiking trails that are kept up. This means it's a real adventure to visit!
