Barbara Ann Knudson (born December 4, 1927 – died May 11, 2014) was an American actress. She starred in movies and television shows for many years. She had over forty acting roles. Some of her most famous films include Meet Danny Wilson (1952), The Cry Baby Killer (1958), and The Jayhawkers! (1959).

Early Life and Career
Barbara Knudson was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 4, 1927. Her parents were K.O. and Beatrice Knudson. She went to Las Vegas High School and graduated there.
Barbara started acting in local plays. She performed for the Las Vegas Little Theatre. There, she met William "Bill" Henry, who was also an actor. He encouraged her to act at the Pasadena Playhouse. This theater was a great place for new actors.
Becoming a Hollywood Actress
At the Pasadena Playhouse, people who found new talent, called "talent scouts," noticed Barbara. In January 1950, she signed a contract with Paramount Studios. She chose Paramount over another big studio, 20th Century Fox.
Barbara's early roles helped her get more work. She even had a small part in a movie with Rock Hudson. Later, she signed another contract with Universal-International.
Family Life
In 1952, Barbara married Bill Henry in a beautiful ceremony. It took place in Waikiki, Hawaii. Famous guests like Jack Lemmon and John Ford attended their wedding.
Barbara and Bill had one son, William "Bill" Henry Jr., who was born in 1958. Their marriage later ended in 1962.
