The Barclay Tower is a very tall building, called a skyscraper, in New York City. It's in a cool part of town called Tribeca, in Lower Manhattan. This building is where people live. It's super tall, about 673 feet (205 m) high! That's like 56 floors, with 441 apartments inside. It's one of the tallest buildings in New York, tied for 81st place with another building called One Grand Central Place. Workers built it between 2005 and 2007. They even had a special party, called a topping out ceremony, when the highest part was finished in 2006.
Building's History
Before the Barclay Tower was built, this spot had smaller, five-story business buildings. One of them was the Pearl Desk Company, located at 10 Barclay Street.
