Barnes is a small town located in Bayfield County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2020, about 823 people lived there. This was a slight increase from 769 people in 2010.
The town got its name from an early settler. His name was George Sardis Barnes. He opened the very first hotel, saloon, and store in the area during the late 1880s.
