The Baron of Kilravock is a very old and important title in Scotland. It's like being a leader of a special area or family. This title was first created way back in 1293 by John Balliol, who was the King of Scotland at the time. The first person to hold this title was Hugh Rose of Geddes. For many, many years, the people who held the title of Baron of Kilravock were also the main leaders, or "Chiefs," of a Scottish family group called Clan Rose.
