In 2010, about 50 people lived in Bartlett. By 2020, the population was 5 people. It is located near a big highway called Interstate 29 and the Missouri River. It's about 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Thurman.
History of Bartlett
Bartlett was named after Annie Bartlett Phelps, who was the wife of a railroad engineer. The community started as a railroad town. Train service began connecting Bartlett to Council Bluffs in January 1867. In 1940, the community had 125 people living there.
