Basille is a small village found in the province of Lugo, Spain. It is part of the Santiago de Pousada parish, which belongs to the Baralla area.

Two houses, "Casa de Álvaro" and "Casa de Ayán", are not currently lived in. The village has a population of 17 people, with 7 women and 10 men.

Village Economy

The main way people in Basille make a living is through raising livestock. The fields around the village are very green because they are watered using irrigation. This helps the animals have plenty to eat. People also gather chestnuts and apples from the area, which are important local products.
