Where is the Bay of San Miguel?

The Bay of San Miguel is located in eastern Panama. It's a significant part of the country's Pacific coastline. You can find it at about 8.3 degrees North and 78.3 degrees West.

What Rivers and Capes are There?

The bay gets its fresh water from the Tuira River, which is an important river in Panama.

At the southern end of the bay, you'll find a point of land called Cape Garachiné. It's also known as Point Garachina.

At the northern end, there's another point of land called Punta San Lorenzo. This is sometimes called Cape Gardo. These capes help to define the entrance to the bay.
