Beau Black, born on August 5, 1983, is an American musician, singer, and songwriter from New York City, New York. He is well-known for writing many songs for Disney's TV show The Lion Guard. In 2017, he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for the song "Sisi Ni Sawa" from The Lion Guard. He also won a Daytime Emmy Award for another song from the show, "As You Move Forward."

Beau Black's Early Life and Music Career
Beau Black is the son of Jay Black, who was the lead singer of the famous music group Jay and the Americans. Beau released his first album of original songs, called Meant to Be, in 2008.
Working with Disney and Other Shows
Beau Black has worked on many popular TV shows, especially for Disney. He has written music and songs for shows like Miles from Tomorrowland, Penn Zero: Part Time Hero, and Mickey and the Roadster Racers. He also contributed to Firebuds, TrollsTopia, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and The Rocketeer. In 2021, he joined the team as a composer and songwriter for the Disney Junior show Mickey Mouse Funhouse.
