Beaver Creek is a stream in the state of Oregon in the United States. It flows into the Crooked River.

Beaver Creek starts where two smaller streams meet. These are called the North Fork Beaver Creek and the South Fork Beaver Creek. This meeting point is in a quiet area of southeastern Crook County.

The North Fork flows south and then west around a place called Laughlin Table. The South Fork comes from the mountains, draining slopes of Snow Mountain and Funny Butte. It joins the North Fork to form Beaver Creek.

Where Does Beaver Creek Flow?

After its two forks join, Beaver Creek flows west. It passes near Birdsong Butte and then southwest through Paulina Valley. It flows past the small town of Paulina.

Finally, Beaver Creek joins the South Fork Crooked River. From there, the main Crooked River flows about 125 miles (201 km) west. It eventually meets the Deschutes River. The Deschutes River then flows into the Columbia River.

Many smaller streams, called tributaries, flow into Beaver Creek. Some of these include Sugar Creek, Grindstone Creek, Wolf Creek, and Paulina Creek. A highway, Oregon Route 380, runs alongside the lower part of Beaver Creek. The creek even flows under the highway twice!
