Bechet is a small town in Romania. It is located in Dolj County, which is part of the Oltenia region. Bechet sits right on the banks of the mighty Danube River. It was part of a large power line that crossed the Danube River. This line connected power plants in Romania and Bulgaria. Today, the power line is gone. But the pylon remains as a reminder of its past.
