A Brief History of Bell Acres
Bell Acres was first settled around the year 1808. Before it became its own town, this area was known as Sewickley Township, which was created on June 28, 1854. Bell Acres officially became its own borough on March 14, 1960. The community got its name from a place called Bell Farms.
