Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace is located in the northeastern part of Clay County. It's right next to Duval County, where the big city of Jacksonville is.

To the east and south, you'll find the town of Orange Park. South of Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace is another community called Lakeside. A popular spot in the area is the Orange Park Mall, which is located right here.

This community covers about 11 square kilometers (or 4.17 square miles) in total. Most of this area is land. Only a small part, about 0.2 square kilometers (or 0.07 square miles), is water.

Even though it's a single CDP, Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace includes a few smaller communities. These are Bellair, Meadowbrook Terrace, and North Meadowbrook Terrace. Many people who live here often say they live in Orange Park, even if they are just outside the town's official borders.

Famous People from the Area

A well-known person connected to this area is Ronnie Van Zant. He was the lead singer for the famous band Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was first buried at Jacksonville Memorial Gardens, which is near the Orange Park Mall.

Later, his remains were moved to a different, secret location. However, his original burial spot and that of his bandmate, Steve Gaines, remain as memorials. Fans can still visit these spots to remember the musicians.
