Belle and Sebastian (French: Belle et Sébastien) is an animated TV show for kids. It's based on a classic 1965 book by Cécile Aubry called Belle et Sébastien. This series was made by two companies working together: Groupe PVP from Canada and Gaumont Animation from France.

Making the Show
How it Started
The idea for an animated Belle and Sebastian TV show began in 2015. A magazine called Variety reported that Gaumont Animation was planning to create it. Later that same month, a Canadian company called Groupe PVP joined Gaumont. They decided to work together on this show. Production was expected to start in 2016.
