Belling the Cat (which means "Đeo lục-lạc cho mèo" in Vietnamese) is a fun animated movie from Vietnam. It came out in 2014 and was directed by Lê Bình. This movie is based on a very old and famous story, a fable by Aesop.

The Story of Belling the Cat

Long ago, a group of mice had a big meeting. They wanted to find a way to stay safe from their biggest enemy, the Cat. The Cat was very sneaky and would often surprise them.

After many ideas were shared, a young mouse stood up. He had a plan he thought would solve their problem. "Our main danger," he explained, "is that the Cat comes silently. If we knew when she was near, we could easily escape!"

He then suggested, "Let's get a small bell and tie it with a ribbon around the Cat's neck. That way, we'll always hear her coming and have time to hide!" All the other mice cheered and clapped for this clever idea.

But then, an old, wise mouse slowly stood up. "That's a great idea," he said, "but who among us will actually put the bell on the Cat?" The mice looked at each other. No one spoke. It was easy to think of a solution, but much harder to carry it out.

How the Movie Was Made

Belling the Cat was created using 2D computer animation. This means artists drew the characters and scenes, and then computers helped bring them to life.
