Bennett is a small, unincorporated community in Douglas County, Wisconsin, United States. An unincorporated community is a place that does not have its own local government. Instead, it is part of a larger town or county.
This community is located about 7 miles (11 km) north-northwest of Solon Springs. It is also about 27 miles (43 km) southeast of the city of Superior.

A Look at Bennett's History
The community of Bennett has an interesting past. It was named after a man named Richard Bennett. He built a special railroad track, called a siding, to help his business.
A post office was first opened here in 1892. It was originally called "Bennett Siding." Later, in 1899, the name was changed to simply "Bennett." The post office served the community for many years before it closed in 1984.
