Bennsville is a place in Charles County, Maryland, in the United States. The United States Census Bureau calls it Bensville. It is a special type of area called a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's a community that looks like a town, but it doesn't have its own local government.
In 2020, about 15,288 people lived in Bennsville. This area is not an official postal town. Instead, it uses the postal services of nearby Waldorf or Pomfret. Bennsville has been growing with new homes. This growth was helped in the 1990s when Maryland Route 228 was extended. This road makes it easy to get to Maryland Route 210. Important changes in Bennsville include the opening of North Point High School in 2006. Also, Middletown Road was made straighter in 2008, making travel easier.
