Bentley Kyle Evans (born August 10, 1966) is an American writer, producer, director, and actor. He is known for creating and working on many popular TV shows. He was born in Oakland, California.

Early Life and First Steps
Bentley Kyle Evans was born in Oakland, California. He grew up in the View Park-Windsor Hills area of Los Angeles. He finished high school at Westchester in 1984.
In 1986, Evans worked as a Production Assistant for Robert Townsend's movie Hollywood Shuffle. He also had a small speaking role in the film. This role helped him join the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), which is a union for actors.
TV Shows and Movies by Bentley Kyle Evans
Evans first appeared as an actor in the 1990 movie House Party. He is most famous for being a "showrunner" for several TV shows. A showrunner is like the main boss of a TV series. They oversee everything from writing to production.
Some of the popular shows he worked on include:
- Martin (1992–1997) on FOX
- The Jamie Foxx Show (1996–2001) on The WB
- Love That Girl! (2010–2014) on TV One
Evans also created Love That Girl! He helped create The Jamie Foxx Show too.
Outside of TV, Evans co-wrote a movie called A Thin Line Between Love and Hate (1996). He wrote it with Martin Lawrence, who was the star of the Martin TV series.
Working with Bounce TV and Netflix
Bentley Kyle Evans created, produced, and directed the TV series Family Time. This show was the first original TV series for Bounce TV.
He also created other TV shows for Bounce TV, such as:

In addition, Evans was an executive producer for a new Jamie Foxx TV show. This show was called Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! and it started on Netflix in 2021.
New Projects and Reunions
Evans worked with famous rapper MC Lyte to create a series called Partners in Rhyme. This show started on ALLBLK. Evans directed the first two seasons of this series.
He also works on another TV show called Millennials for ALLBLK. He is an executive producer and director for this show.
In 2022, Evans helped write and produce Martin: The Reunion for BET+. This was a special show that brought the cast of Martin back together.

Bentley Kyle Evans has a son and a daughter. His son, Bentley Kyle Evans Jr., played a main role as Devin Stallworth on the TV series Family Time. His daughter, KyLee Evans, is a writer for The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder on Disney+.
