Discover the History of Berlaar

The Legend of the Church Location
There's a really interesting story about how the church in Berlaar got its spot. Long, long ago, people couldn't agree on where to build the church. So, they decided to let fate choose!
They set two bears to fight. The legend says that where one bear defeated the other, that would be the perfect place for the church. This is why the church in Berlaar isn't in the middle of the town square like most churches. Instead, it stands proudly at the very end of the square. It's a unique and special location!
