Berwyn is a small village in northwestern Alberta, Canada. It is about 37 kilometers (23 miles) west of the town of Peace River. It's also close to Grimshaw and the Duncan's First Nation reserve.
The main office for the Municipal District of Peace No. 135 is right next to Berwyn. The village got its name from a place called Berwyn in Wales.

How Many People Live in Berwyn?
In 2021, Berwyn had a population of 577 people. These people lived in 237 homes. This was a small increase from 538 people in 2016. The village covers an area of about 1.57 square kilometers (0.61 square miles).
Learning and Schools
Lloyd Garrison School is the only school in Berwyn. It teaches students from kindergarten to grade 6 (K-6). This school is managed by the Peace River School Division.
Older students, from junior high and senior high, take a bus to schools in Grimshaw or Peace River. Students who attend separate schools also travel by bus to Grimshaw.
For learning after high school, students can go to Northern Lakes College. There are campuses in Peace River and Fairview.
