Bhag (Urdu: بھاگ) is a city in the Balochistan Province of Pakistan. It is the biggest city in its Kachhi District. The city is about 90 meters (298 feet) above sea level.

For a while, Bhag was part of a different district called Lehri. This happened in 2013. Later, in 2018, Lehri District became part of Sibi District. Now, Bhag is back in Kachhi District. Sometimes, people use the names Bolan and Kachhi to mean the same area.

Bhag is home to many different groups of people, called tribes.

  • Baloch tribes include Chhalgari, Rind, Mastoi, Mugheri, Lund, Babbar, Gola, and Jatoi.
  • Sindhi tribes include Attar, Hanbhi, Kalwar, Abro, Airy, Machhi, Sheikh, Bohar, Pahore, Joya, and Soomro.
  • Birahvi tribes are Lehri, Bangulzai, Babbar, and Shahwani. These are the smallest groups in Bhag.
  • There are also Rajput tribes, like the Bhatti.

A small number of people in Bhag are Hindus. They are often traders and play an important part in local businesses. The Bhagnari community, which mostly lives in Mumbai today, originally came from Bhag.

The area around Bhag, called Bhag Tehsil, has one main city committee and four smaller councils. The main city committee is Bhag itself. The four smaller councils are Naushehra, Jalal Khan, Chhalgari, and Mehram.
