Bibleman is an American Christian children's video series. It was created by Tony Salerno and ran from 1995 to 2010. The show aims to share Christian messages.

The series is about a superhero named Bibleman who fights bad guys. He often uses Bible verses to help him. There have been three main versions of the show: The Bibleman Show, The Bibleman Adventure, and Bibleman: Powersource.

The main character, Bibleman, was first played by Willie Aames (from 1995 to 2003). Later, Robert T. Schlipp took over the role (from 2004 to 2010). The series was relaunched in 2016 as a computer-animated show called Bibleman: The Animated Adventures. It has also been shown in Australia on the Australian Christian Channel.

What is Bibleman About?

The story begins with Miles B. Peterson, a very rich man who had everything. But he felt unhappy. In a tough moment, he turned to God and the Bible. After that, he promised to fight evil using God's word.

Miles becomes Bibleman, wearing the full armor of God. He uses Bible verses to defeat his enemies. Later, a new Bibleman appears, named Josh Carpenter. Josh learned about the Bible during a difficult time when his parents were arguing. He used to be a children's pastor.

Who are the Characters?

The Bibleman series features many heroes and villains.

Meet the Heroes

  • Miles Peterson/Bibleman (played by Willie Aames): He was the first Bibleman. Miles was successful but unhappy until he found the Bible and became a Christian. He then decided to fight evil as Bibleman. Miles later retired and passed his role to Josh Carpenter. His main weapon is a laser sword.
  • Coats (played by Marc Wayne): Miles Peterson's best friend and first sidekick. He coached high school basketball. Coats didn't have a superhero suit but used gadgets and self-defense skills.
