William Franklin Walker (born July 1, 1896 – died January 27, 1992) was an American actor. He was famous for his roles in movies and TV shows. Many people remember him best as Reverend Sykes in the 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird.

William Walker was born in Pendleton, Indiana. He started acting in 1946. His acting career lasted for five decades, which is 50 years! He appeared in many popular TV shows and movies.

Later, on August 13, 1959, he married Canadian actress Peggy Cartwright. Peggy was famous for being part of the original silent film group called Our Gang.
William Walker's Death
William Walker passed away on January 27, 1992. He died from cancer. He was a veteran of World War I, meaning he served in the United States Army during that war. He is buried with his wife at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
