Bitter Lake is a lake found in Ontario, Canada. It is located in a place called Dysart et al within Haliburton County. This lake is part of a larger water system that includes the Trent River and even Lake Ontario. It is about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of the town of Haliburton.

Bitter Lake is a medium-sized lake. It stretches about 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) long. The lake is also about 0.6 kilometres (0.4 mi) wide. It sits quite high up, at an elevation of 413 metres (1,355 ft) above sea level.
How Water Flows In and Out
Bitter Lake does not have any big rivers flowing into it. This means it gets most of its water from smaller streams or rainfall.
The main way water leaves Bitter Lake is through a small, unnamed creek. This creek flows into another lake called Tedious Lake. From Tedious Lake, the water continues its journey. It then flows into the Redstone River. The Redstone River is a branch of the Gull River. This shows how Bitter Lake is connected to many other waterways in the area.
