Bjuv Municipality (which in Swedish is Bjuvs kommun) is a special area in southern Sweden. It's like a local government district. It's located in Skåne County, which is in South Sweden. The main town, or "seat," of this municipality is called Bjuv.
In 1974, some changes happened to how local areas were organized in Sweden. The "old" Bjuv, which had been a market town since 1946, joined together with two other places called Billesholm and Ekeby. This created the Bjuv Municipality we know today.
