How Did Bloomfield Get Its Name?
The town was named by early settlers, J. Berton and Dave Crockett. They came from a town called Bloomfield, Nebraska. Other families from Bloomfield, Nebraska, soon followed them to this new place in Montana. Before that, the area was home to an Amish community.
