Robert Francis Jeaudoin (born January 8, 1948 – died September 30, 2012) was an American professional wrestler. He was best known by his wrestling name, "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers. He was also a civil engineer.
Bobby Jaggers became famous in different wrestling groups linked to the National Wrestling Alliance. He had great success in Florida and in the Pacific Northwest, which was close to his hometown. His wrestling character was a cowboy from Kansas. He lived in Kansas during the later years of his life.

Bobby Jaggers' Early Life
Robert Jeaudoin was born in Vancouver, Washington. He went to Hudson's Bay High School there.
In December 1966, Robert joined the United States Army. He served in Vietnam for about a year and a half. He was part of the 1st Battalion, 30th Field Artillery Regiment. He fought in important battles, including the Tet Offensive.
After leaving the Army, Robert worked at a cookie factory. Then he met Sandy Barr, who helped him greatly. Robert was struggling after his time in Vietnam. When Sandy asked if he wanted to be a wrestler, he quickly agreed.
Becoming a Professional Wrestler
Starting His Career (1972–1977)
Bobby Jaggers began wrestling in 1972. He used the name "Bobby Mayne" at first. He learned a lot in the Pacific Northwest. Soon after, he moved to Memphis. There, he teamed up with Charlie Fulton.
In 1973, he went to Kansas City. Famous wrestler Dory Funk, Jr. noticed him. Dory wanted him to wrestle in his area in Amarillo. Bobby split his time between these two places.
In 1975, he worked in Louisiana. He formed a tag team with Jerry Brown. Later, he moved to Canada for a short time. He also wrestled in Atlanta, where he teamed with Sterling Golden. Sterling Golden later became the famous Hulk Hogan. Bobby also wrestled in Knoxville before moving to Florida.
His Best Years (1977–1988)
Bobby Jaggers found his biggest success in Florida. He had a big rivalry with Dusty Rhodes. During this time, he also wrestled in Puerto Rico many times. He went on eighteen tours to Japan. He also had some wrestling shows in South Africa.
In 1984, he went to Portland, Oregon. There, he won four Heavyweight titles. He also won two Tag Team titles with different partners. After this, he joined Jim Crockett Promotions. He formed a famous tag team called The Kansas Jayhawks with Dutch Mantel.
In 1986, they competed for a new championship. They lost in the finals to Ivan Koloff and Krusher Khrushchev. Bobby stayed with Jim Crockett Promotions until 1988.
Later Career (1988–1991)
By 1988, Bobby Jaggers was wrestling a lot in Puerto Rico. On July 16, 1988, a very sad event happened. Another wrestler, Bruiser Brody, died after a show. This incident deeply affected Bobby. It made him slowly stop wrestling. He officially retired in 1991.
In late 1989, Bobby Jaggers wrestled twice for the WWE. He lost to Jim Neidhart in one match. In another, he and a partner lost to The Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels).
In 1989, Bobby Jaggers teamed with Black Bart. They were called the Southern Force. They won the tag team titles once. They beat the Nasty Boys to win the titles. Later, they lost the titles to Dustin Rhodes and Mike Graham. The wrestling company they were in closed in 1991.
Life as an Engineer
After he stopped wrestling, Bobby Jaggers went back to school. He studied civil engineering at Kansas City University. He also took classes at Butler County Community College. He worked for the state of Kansas as an engineering technician.
By 2007, he became a specialist for roads and bridges. He worked for the Department of Homeland Security in Kansas. When he passed away, he was working for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). He helped with roads and bridges in disaster relief projects.
His Passing
Bobby Jaggers passed away on September 30, 2012. He died in Covington, Louisiana. He had been sick for a long time with health problems that led to renal failure (kidney failure). He was buried in Dunlap Cemetery. He received full military honors for his service.
