How to Get There

A Look Back in Time
Long ago, in the early 1900s, Boca de Cupé had a special connection to history. A railway track once ran to the town. This railway came from the Cana gold mines. It helped transport things to and from the mines. However, the railway stopped working in 1911.
Nearby Communities
Boca de Cupé is part of a larger area. Other small villages are located further up the river. One example is a village called Sobiaquirú. These communities are also often reached by river.
