Club Career
Early Days and Manchester United
Bojan Djordjic was born in Belgrade, which was part of Yugoslavia at the time. His father, Ranko Đorđić, was also a professional footballer. Bojan began his career at IF Brommapojkarna before moving to Manchester United in 1999 as a young player.
He was seen as a very promising talent. At 18, he even won the Jimmy Murphy Player of the Year Award at Manchester United. However, he only played in two official matches for the main team. He did score a cool goal against Celtic in a friendly match in 2001.
Manchester United then loaned him out to other clubs. He played for Sheffield Wednesday, Aarhus GF, and Red Star Belgrade. While at Red Star Belgrade, he scored his first goal as a senior player in a European match.
Playing for Rangers
In January 2005, Bojan joined Rangers in Scotland for free. He made his first full appearance against Celtic in the Scottish Cup. Unfortunately, he had some injuries that made it hard for him to play regularly for the team.
Time at Plymouth Argyle
After leaving Rangers, Bojan moved to Plymouth Argyle at the end of the 2004–05 season. He had played four league games when Rangers won their league title. His favorite club, AIK in Stockholm, was also interested in him.
In 2006, after playing for Plymouth for a while, his manager decided to make him available for transfer. This was because his attitude in training and games sometimes wasn't the best. But he was told he could get back into the team if he improved.
Bojan worked hard and scored eight goals in five games for the reserve team. He returned to the main team after three months. He scored a goal in his first game back and continued to score in the next two games. Because of his improved performance, he was taken off the transfer list.
Success with AIK
In October 2007, Bojan left Plymouth Argyle. In November, he signed a two-year contract with the Swedish club AIK. His first season there was tough because of several injuries. He missed many matches, including the last eight games of the 2008 season.
His first game for AIK was on 30 March 2008. During the 2009 season, another club, Maccabi Haifa, offered him a contract. But Bojan chose to stay with AIK, the club he loved. He helped AIK win the 2009 Allsvenskan (the Swedish league) by scoring 1 goal and assisting 6 others. They also won the Swedish Cup that year.
In 2010, AIK was not playing well as the defending champions. This led to changes in the team and management.
Moving to Videoton
In June 2010, news came out that the Hungarian club Videoton had bought both Bojan and another player, Martin Mutumba. The director of Videoton even compared Bojan to famous footballer Roberto Baggio. There was a lot of talk in the media about this transfer.
Bojan and Mutumba said that their new coach at AIK wanted them to leave. However, AIK's management said they received a very good offer they couldn't refuse. A year later, Bojan ended his contract with Videoton.
Short Stays in England and Belgium
In June 2011, Bojan joined Blackpool in England on a two-year contract. He was happy to reunite with his former manager, Ian Holloway, who he felt brought out the best in him. He said it was a big step to return to English football. However, he left Blackpool by agreement in January 2012.
In February 2012, he signed a short contract with Royal Antwerp, a club in Belgium.
Back to Sweden and India
In June 2012, Bojan returned to his first club, Brommapojkarna. In January 2014, he signed with Vasalunds IF, another Swedish club.
Later in 2014, Bojan was chosen in a special draft for the Indian Super League. He signed with Chennaiyin and became the team captain for the club.
International Career
Bojan Djordjic was part of Sweden's team that played in the 1999 UEFA European Under-16 Championship. He also played 9 games for the Sweden U21 team.

From the mid-2010s, Bojan began working as a football pundit for Viaplay sports channels in Sweden. He would share his opinions and analysis about football matches. In March 2023, he had a notable on-air discussion with the coach of the Swedish national team after a game. This discussion became a big topic in the news.
