What Does It Look Like?
The Carolina doll's-daisy is a plant that grows back year after year. It can grow quite tall, reaching up to 200 centimeters (about 80 inches). That's taller than most people!
This plant has many flowers that look a lot like daisies. Each flower head has two main parts:
- Ray florets: These are the petal-like parts that spread out from the center. They can be white or a pretty lilac color.
- Disc florets: These are the tiny flowers packed together in the center of the flower head. They are usually yellow.
