Boroneddu is a small town, also called a comune (which means municipality), located in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region of Sardinia. It's found about 100 kilometers (62 miles) north of Cagliari, which is a larger city, and about 35 kilometers (22 miles) northeast of Oristano.
As of December 31, 2004, Boroneddu had a population of 179 people. The town covers a small area of about 4.6 square kilometers (1.8 square miles). Boroneddu shares its borders with a few other nearby towns: Ghilarza, Soddì, and Tadasuni.
