How Boxer Ramen Started

The very first Boxer Ramen restaurant opened in 2013. It was started by two people, Micah Camden and Katie Poppe. This first restaurant was quite small. It could seat about 30 to 40 people.

Growing Bigger: More Locations

After the first restaurant did well, they opened a second one in 2015. Later, Matt Lynch and Chris Thornton joined as partners. They helped Boxer Ramen grow even more.

More restaurants opened in the following years. A third one opened in 2016. Then a fourth opened in 2017. A fifth location was added in 2018. This shows how popular their ramen became!

Temporary Closures and Changes

In 2020, all Boxer Ramen restaurants closed for a little while. This was a temporary measure. After this, some of the newer locations changed. They became different restaurants. These new places are also run by some of the original owners.
