The Boyer North River (or rivière Boyer Nord in French) is a small river in Quebec, Canada. It's like a smaller stream that flows into a bigger river. This river joins the Boyer River, which then flows into the mighty St. Lawrence River. The Boyer North River flows through towns like Saint-Anselme and Saint-Henri. It's located in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec.

Where the River Flows
The Boyer North River is part of a larger water system. A watershed is an area of land where all the water drains into the same river or lake. Here are the main watersheds near the Boyer North River:

The River's Beginning
The Boyer North River starts in Saint-Anselme. Its source is on the east side of the Etchemin River. It begins in the Sainte-Anne range, just north of the village of Saint-Anselme.
The River's Journey
The Boyer North River flows for about 17.5 kilometers (about 10.9 miles). Here's how its journey unfolds:
- It starts by flowing southwest, then northwest for 2.0 km (1.2 miles). It passes between Cadrin and Bourassa streets, and behind the arena in Saint-Anselme.
- Next, it flows northwest for 1.9 km (1.2 miles). It runs alongside Route 277.
- Then, it heads north for 3.1 km (1.9 miles). This part of the river marks the border between Saint-Anselme and Saint-Henri.
- It continues north for 1.2 km (0.7 miles) to Rang de la Grande-Grillade.
- The river then winds north for 3.7 km (2.3 miles) until it reaches Chemin Saint-Félix.
- Finally, it flows northeasterly for 5.6 km (3.5 miles). It follows the southeast side of Route 218 until it reaches its end.
Where the River Ends
The Boyer North River meets the Boyer River in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse. This meeting point is west of the village of Saint-Gervais. It's also south of Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse and east of Saint-Henri.
River's Name
The official name "rivière Boyer Nord" was made public on December 5, 1968. This was done by the Commission de toponymie du Québec. This commission is in charge of naming places in Quebec.
