Bräcke Municipality (Swedish: Bräcke kommun) is a municipality in Jämtland County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Bräcke.

This municipality was created in 1974. It was formed by joining the "old" Bräcke Municipality with two other areas: Kälarne and Revsund. Before that, in 1952, these three areas were also formed from even smaller places. There were originally six separate areas in 1863. People have suggested joining more areas together because the population is getting smaller, but these ideas have not been accepted.

Famous People from Bräcke
