Bradley Leeb, born on August 27, 1979, is a Canadian Cree First Nations former professional ice hockey player. He played a few games in the NHL for the Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Maple Leafs. Most of his career was spent in the minor AHL. He also played several years in Germany and the United Kingdom before he stopped playing in 2013.

Leeb's Hockey Journey
Starting in Red Deer
Brad Leeb began his hockey journey playing for the Red Deer Midget Chiefs. When he was just 15, he played three games for his hometown team, the Red Deer Rebels. He then played four full seasons with the Rebels in the WHL. In 1999, he was even chosen to play in the WHL All-Star game.
Playing for Team Canada
In 1999, Leeb got to play for Team Canada at the 1999 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. This big tournament was held in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Canada won the silver medal after a tough game against Russia. Leeb was one of the top scorers for Team Canada. He had 8 points in 7 games, tying with other great players like Simon Gagne.
Time in the NHL and Minor Leagues
After his junior career, Leeb signed with the Vancouver Canucks in 1999. He played 4 games for the Canucks. He spent most of his time playing in their minor league teams. These teams included the Syracuse Crunch and the Manitoba Moose in the AHL.
In 2002, Leeb joined the Toronto Maple Leafs. He played one game for the Maple Leafs. He mainly played for their minor league teams. These were the St. John's Maple Leafs and later the Toronto Marlies.
Playing Overseas
Leeb moved to Germany in 2007 to play for ERC Ingolstadt. This team is part of the DEL, which is Germany's top hockey league.
From 2008 to 2012, he played for the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers in Nuremberg, Germany. This was special because he played on the same team as his older brother, Greg Leeb. It was the first time the brothers had ever been teammates. Before this, they had always played against each other in different leagues.
In 2012, Leeb signed with the Coventry Blaze in the United Kingdom. He played one season there, joining his brother who had signed earlier.
Retirement and Education
On April 8, 2013, Brad Leeb announced that he was retiring from professional hockey. After his playing career, he continued his education. He earned a master's degree in Sports Management from Coventry University.
