Brandon Lamon Jones was born on December 10, 1983. He is an American former professional baseball player. Brandon played as an outfielder. He was part of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for the Atlanta Braves from 2007 to 2009. Brandon was 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 195 pounds. He batted left-handed and threw right-handed.

Playing for the Atlanta Braves
The Atlanta Braves picked Brandon in the 24th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball Draft. He was drafted after playing at Wewahitchka High School in Wewahitchka, Florida. In 2007, Baseball America said he was the fourth best new player for the Braves.
Brandon helped the Triple-A Richmond Braves win the 2007 Governors' Cup championship. This was in the International League. Soon after, he played his first big league game. This was on September 16, 2007. He did not get any hits in that game.
On September 17, Brandon got his first major league RBI. An RBI means he helped a teammate score a run. His first career hit was a double. He got it on September 28 against the Houston Astros. He then went back to Richmond. He played in the Triple-A Championship Game. He got one hit, but his team lost.
On June 11, 2008, the Braves called him back up to the main team. Brandon hit his first major league home run on June 14. He hit it off Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher Ervin Santana. On January 12, 2010, the Braves made a change. They moved Brandon to make room for another player, Eric Hinske.

On January 19, 2010, the Pittsburgh Pirates picked him up.
Detroit Tigers
On August 2, 2010, the Pirates traded Brandon. He went to the Detroit Tigers. He was sent to their Double-A team, the Erie SeaWolves.
Milwaukee Brewers
On January 4, 2011, Brandon signed a contract with the Milwaukee Brewers. He played 68 games for their Double-A team, the Huntsville Stars. Later, he was released from the team.
Independent League Baseball
After playing in Major League Baseball and its minor leagues, Brandon played for several independent baseball teams. These leagues are not connected to MLB teams.
- He finished the 2011 season with the Lancaster Barnstormers.
- He started the 2012 season with the Kansas City T-Bones. This team is in the American Association. He played well, hitting 14 home runs.
- Brandon also played for Kansas City in 2013.
