Brandon Jaime London (born October 16, 1984) is a former professional football player. He played as a wide receiver, which means his job was to catch passes from the quarterback. Brandon played in both the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL).

He was signed by the New York Giants in 2007. He also played for the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers. Brandon even earned a Super Bowl ring with the Giants in Super Bowl XLII. His father, Mike London, is also a well-known college football coach.

College Football Days

Brandon London played college football at the University of Massachusetts (UMass). He was a star player there. In his final year (2006), he led UMass in catches and receiving yards.

He finished his college career as one of the top receivers in UMass history. He was second in career catches and third in all-time receiving yards. He also scored many touchdowns for his team.

Playing in the NFL

After college, Brandon London joined the NFL. He started his professional career with the New York Giants.

New York Giants

In 2007, the New York Giants signed Brandon to their practice squad. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but aren't on the main roster. He later joined the main team in 2008. He was released by the Giants later that year.

Miami Dolphins

Soon after leaving the Giants, Brandon was picked up by the Miami Dolphins in August 2008. He played with them for a season. However, after the 2009 preseason, he was released by the Dolphins.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Brandon then signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers in February 2010. He was with the Steelers for a few months before being released in September 2010.

Life in the CFL

After his time in the NFL, Brandon London moved to Canada to play in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Montreal Alouettes

Brandon signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL near the end of the 2010 CFL season. He didn't play in any games that year. However, in the 2011 season, he played in all 18 games. He scored his first CFL touchdown on September 11, 2011.

In the 2012 season, even though he played fewer games, he gained more yards and scored more touchdowns. The Alouettes were happy with his performance and signed him to a three-year contract extension in 2013. Brandon London announced his retirement from the CFL on June 4, 2015.

Personal Life

Brandon London's father is Mike London. Mike London is a very successful college football coach. He has coached teams like the Richmond Spiders and the William & Mary Tribe. In 2008, he led the Richmond Spiders to win a national championship in his first season as their head coach.
