Brant is a small community known as a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada. It is located within Vulcan County, a local government area. You can find Brant about 6 kilometers (about 4 miles) south of Highway 23. It's also roughly 71 kilometers (about 44 miles) southeast of the big city of Calgary.
This hamlet got its name because many Brant geese used to live in the area. Today, Brant is home to a large building called a grain elevator, which is used to store grain. It also has a Christian School for local students.
