Brent is a community in Escambia County, Florida. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that looks like a town but isn't officially governed by its own city government.
In 2020, about 23,447 people lived in Brent. This was an increase from 21,804 people in 2010. Brent is an important part of the larger Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community gets its name from Francis Celestino Brent. He was a key person in helping the nearby city of Pensacola grow and develop.

Brent is found in the state of Florida. It is about 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Pensacola. The community sits about 112 feet (34 meters) above sea level.

Brent has clear boundaries. To the south, you'll find Fairfield Drive. The city of Pensacola is to the east. Interstate 10 (near Ensley) is to the north. To the west, you'll find Bellview.
