Brian L. Friedman (born May 28, 1977) is a famous American dancer and choreographer. He creates amazing dance routines for many popular music artists.
Brian has worked with huge stars like Britney Spears, Cher, Beyoncé Knowles, and Mariah Carey. He also choreographs for music videos, big concert tours, and even TV shows and movies.

Early Life and Dance Beginnings
Brian Friedman was born in Highland Park, Illinois, in the United States. He started dancing when he was 11 years old in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He appeared in different dance shows, including Newsies and Kids Incorporated. By the time he was 16, he was already in charge of his own dance studio!
Brian learned from top dance teachers like Joe Tremaine and Kenny Ortega. As a young dancer, he worked with legends such as Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Celine Dion.
He also helped create dances for movies like Charlie's Angels and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. Brian even co-owned a dance studio called The Dance Source with his mom, Judi Friedman. It closed in 2000 so he could focus completely on choreography.

Creating Dances for Stars
Brian Friedman has choreographed, directed, and performed in many music videos and live shows. He worked on Britney Spears' famous videos like "Toxic", "Me Against the Music", and "I'm a Slave 4 U". He also choreographed her "The Dream Within a Dream Tour" and Onyx Hotel Tour.
His other dance work includes "My Love Is Like...Wo" by Mýa and "Pop" by *NSYNC. Brian has also choreographed for TV shows such as Will & Grace and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
From 2004 to 2016, Brian was the creative director for The PULSE on Tour. He traveled the world, teaching and guiding young dancers.
In 2011, he teamed up with Britney Spears again. He choreographed her music videos and performances for her hit songs "Hold It Against Me" and "Till the World Ends".
More recently, in 2019, Brian choreographed all the musical numbers for Melanie Martinez' movie, K–12. He also worked with the popular South Korean girl group Itzy for their song "Icy".
Working on TV Shows
Brian Friedman has been a judge and choreographer on many TV shows. He appeared on So You Think You Can Dance?.
Later, he joined Simon Cowell's show, Grease Is the Word. In 2007, Brian became a judge on the British series of The X Factor. He sat alongside Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne.
After a short time as a judge, Simon Cowell created a new role for Brian: creative director for The X Factor. In this role, he worked closely with the contestants and judges.
Brian left the British show in 2010. He then worked on the American version of The X Factor. He helped contestants and judges like Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
He also directed and choreographed for Dancing with the Stars. He was a producer and creative director for America's Got Talent.
In 2014, Brian returned to The X Factor UK as creative director. In 2015, he took part in the reality show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. He finished in 11th place.
Brian lives in Scottsdale, Arizona and London.

Brian Friedman married his partner, Daniel Porter Friedman, in February 2020. He also supports the Urdang Academy, a performing arts college.
