Brian Keith Mitchell (born December 13, 1968) is an American football coach and a former professional player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons. Today, he helps young players as a coach. He is currently the cornerbacks coach at North Carolina State University.
Playing in the NFL
Brian Mitchell was chosen by the Atlanta Falcons in the 1991 NFL draft. This happened in the seventh round of the draft. He was the 172nd player picked overall that year.
Mitchell played for the Falcons for a few seasons. He was a cornerback, a defensive player who tries to stop passes. He also had a brief time with the Dallas Cowboys.
