College Basketball Star
Brian Oliver went to Georgia Tech for college. He played basketball there from 1986 to 1990. During his time at Georgia Tech, he was part of a famous trio. This group was called "Lethal Weapon 3."

Brian Oliver played alongside Dennis Scott and Kenny Anderson. Together, they led the Georgia Tech basketball team to a big achievement. In 1990, they reached the Final Four of the college basketball tournament. This was a very exciting time for the team.
Professional Career
After college, Brian Oliver became a professional basketball player. He was chosen by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1990 NBA draft. He was the 32nd player picked overall.
Time in the NBA
Brian played in the NBA for four years. Most of his time was with the Philadelphia 76ers from 1990 to 1992. He also played short periods with the Washington Bullets and the Atlanta Hawks. His first year with the 76ers was his best in the NBA. He played in 73 games and scored about 3.8 points per game.
Playing in Other Leagues
Brian Oliver also played in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). He was with the Rockford Lightning from 1992 to 1995. He was recognized as one of the best players in the league.
