Briargrove, Houston facts for kids
Briargrove is a friendly neighborhood located in Houston, Texas, United States. It's close to a busy area called Uptown Houston.
Briargrove started in the 1950s. Back then, most houses were one-story ranch homes. These were built in the 1950s and 1960s. Later, in 1986, the neighborhood changed some rules about building. These rules, called deed restrictions, allowed people to build taller homes, like 11⁄2-story or two-story houses. Because of this, some older ranch homes were replaced with newer, taller ones.
