Brittany Lynn Raymond is a Canadian actress and dancer. She was born on February 24, 1995. Brittany is well-known for playing Riley in the TV show The Next Step. She also played Cori Ross in the series Dare Me.

Brittany's Acting Journey
Starting with The Next Step
Brittany starred in the TV series The Next Step from 2013 to 2017. In the show, she played a character named Riley. To promote the series, she traveled and performed in many countries. These included Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
From 2015 to 2016, she also played Riley in a spin-off show called Lost & Found Music Studios. In 2019, Brittany returned as Riley for The Next Step Christmas Special. Around the same time, she started appearing in the USA Network series Dare Me as Cori Ross.
Beyond Acting: Writing and Producing
Besides being a talented dancer, Brittany also loves to write. She helped write the scripts for two web-series. These were called Australianaire$ and Graped. She starred in both of these shows with her friend and business partner, Brennan Clost.
Brittany and Brennan started a production company together. In 2020, they produced a six-episode web-series called Australianaire$. They also made a short film in 2021, which was titled Almost Twenty.
Her YouTube Channel
In 2016, Brittany started a YouTube channel called "Jo and Britt." She created this channel with her high school friend, Joelle Farrow. They met in a writing class and became good friends.
On their channel, Jo and Britt did promotional events. They also had sponsorships with Google for their Pixel Phone. They even went to the UK to meet their fans. While running the channel, they created their own merchandise. This included clothing, notebooks, and phone cases.

Early Life and Dance
Brittany was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Her parents are Paula and John Raymond. She also has an older sister named Samantha. Brittany's mother has Portuguese family roots.
She started dancing competitively when she was six years old. She trained at the Joanne Chapman School of Dance. When she was 17, she got her role in The Next Step. After that, she moved to Georgetown, Ontario.
Health and Hobbies
In late 2016, Brittany was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. This is a health condition that affected her intestine. She had surgery to help with it. Luckily, she is now in remission, which means the condition is under control. During that time, she found new hobbies. She started knitting and spent more time writing.
Personal Life and Home
Brittany has been dating Benjamin Dunlop since 2017. Benjamin is a photographer from Brisbane, Australia. They met at the 5th Canadian Screen Awards. At that event, Brittany won an award for her role as Riley in The Next Step. Today, Brittany and Benjamin live in an apartment in Downtown Toronto. They share their home with their cat, Sauble.
