Broad Fields was once a small town, or "city," in Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. It was located near St. Matthews, Kentucky. Broad Fields was officially created on May 24, 1957. This meant it had its own local government.
Later, on July 1, 2000, Broad Fields stopped being its own city. On January 8, 2001, it became part of the nearby city of St. Matthews. In the year 2000, about 250 people lived there.
