Brooke Levi Vincent (born 4 June 1992) is an English actress. She is best known for playing the character Sophie Webster in the TV show Coronation Street. Brooke was part of the show from 2004 to 2019.

Early Life and Education

Brooke Vincent was born in Audenshaw, Greater Manchester, England. Her mother, Nicola Anderton, worked for the police. Her father, Anthony Vincent, was a tour guide. Brooke's parents separated when she was two years old. She was raised by her mother and her stepfather, John McDermott.

Brooke has an older half-brother named Zak. She also has a younger half-sister named Maisie. Brooke is the cousin of Ellie Leach, who also acted in Coronation Street. Ellie played the character Faye Windass. Brooke was very happy when Ellie joined the show.

Brooke went to Fairfield High School for Girls in Droylsden. She also studied at The Manchester College. There, she earned a special diploma in Acting.

Brooke's Acting Career

Brooke Vincent's first TV role was in the series The League of Gentlemen in 2002. She played a character named Casey Emma Glass. Soon after, she got the role of Sophie in Coronation Street. She also appeared on Children in Need in 2004.

In 2018, Brooke took part in Dancing on Ice. This is a TV show where celebrities learn to ice skate. She finished in second place with her skating partner, Matej Silecky.

Brooke joined the popular British TV show Coronation Street in April 2004. She was the third actress to play the character Sophie Webster. The previous actress, Emma Woodward, had left the show. Brooke's first episode as Sophie was shown on 12 May 2004.

In 2010, Coronation Street won an award at the Stonewall Awards. The show received the "Broadcast of the Year" award. This was for its storylines that included different types of relationships. Brooke was also nominated for an award herself. In 2008, she was nominated for "Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress" at The British Soap Awards. She was also nominated for "Best Young Actor" at the Inside Soap Awards.

Brooke took a break from Coronation Street in October 2019. This was because she was going on maternity leave.

Other Projects and Businesses

In 2018, Brooke Vincent started her own company. It sells stationery products and is called Oh So B. Her first three planners were named after her half-sister and cousins.

In June 2023, Brooke also worked on Hits Radio. She filled in for Gemma Atkinson, who was on maternity leave. Brooke hosted the show alongside Mike Toolan.

Brooke's Personal Life

Brooke Vincent has been in a relationship with footballer Kean Bryan since 2016. They have two sons together.

Brooke shared in 2018 that she had stopped smoking. She had been smoking for ten years. In April 2019, Brooke announced she was expecting her first child. Her son, Mexx S J Bryan, was born on 23 October 2019. In November 2020, Brooke shared that she was expecting her second child. Her second son, Monroe S J Bryan, was born on 4 May 2021.
