Brownfield is a small, unincorporated community located in the northeastern part of Laclede County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.
This community is found about one mile southeast of the border between Laclede and Pulaski counties. It is also about one mile east of Missouri Route K. Brownfield is nestled inside the beautiful Mark Twain National Forest, with the Gasconade River flowing just one mile to its east.

A post office was opened in Brownfield in 1930. It stayed open for 25 years, closing its doors in 1955. The community got its name from Riley Brownfield, who was one of the first people to work at the post office there.
