Bruce Wayne LaSane (born March 24, 1967) is a former American football player. He was a wide receiver, which means he was one of the players who catches the ball. Bruce played for eight seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) for many teams. These teams included the Cincinnati Rockers, Miami Hooters, and Orlando Predators. He also played college football at Florida State University. Bruce even spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Orlando Thunder.

Growing Up and High School Football

Bruce LaSane grew up playing football in Wildwood, Florida. He played for the Wildwood High School Wildcats. His team was very successful, reaching the Class AA state championship game in both 1984 and 1985. In his final year of high school, he was recognized as a top player. He was part of the "Super 24" team and earned honors like "USA Today honorable mention All-American." He also played in the Florida-Georgia all-star game.

College Football Career

Bruce LaSane played college football for the Florida State Seminoles. He was on the team from 1986 to 1989. During his college career, he caught 46 passes for a total of 731 yards. He also scored six touchdowns. In 1988, he was recognized as an Honorable Mention All-American by The Sporting News.

Professional Football Career

After college, Bruce LaSane continued his football journey. He played in both the National Football League (NFL) and the Arena Football League (AFL).

Early Professional Teams
