Bruno Correa Fernandes Caboclo (born September 21, 1995) is a professional basketball player from Brazil. He plays for Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel. Bruno plays as a power forward or center.
Bruno started his career playing for Pinheiros in Brazil. In 2014, he was picked 20th in the 2014 NBA draft. He then spent seven years playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Early Life and Basketball Start
Bruno Caboclo was born in Osasco, Brazil. He grew up in Barueri and Pirapora do Bom Jesus. When he was 13, he began playing basketball for Grêmio Recreativo Barueri. This was a club that invited kids from local schools to play sports.
In 2013, Bruno went to train with coach Rafael Franco in North Carolina, USA. He was 6 feet 9 inches tall and had a very long arm span, almost 7 feet 7 inches. Coach Franco taught him to be aggressive and focus on getting rebounds.
Professional Basketball Journey
Playing for Pinheiros (2013–2014)
In April 2013, Bruno returned to Brazil. He signed with Pinheiros. This team plays in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) league. During the 2013–14 season, he played 17 games. He averaged about 5 points and 3 rebounds per game.
Time with the Toronto Raptors (2014–2018)
On June 26, 2014, the Toronto Raptors picked Bruno Caboclo 20th in the 2014 NBA draft. Some people thought he would need a lot of time to develop his skills. On July 9, 2014, he signed with the Raptors. He joined them for the 2014 NBA Summer League.
Bruno played his first NBA game on November 21, 2014. He scored 8 points in 12 minutes. During his time with the Raptors, he also played many games for their minor league team, Raptors 905. In 2017, he helped Raptors 905 win the D-League Finals. He scored 31 points and got 11 rebounds in the final game.
Moving to the Sacramento Kings (2018)
On February 8, 2018, Bruno was traded to the Sacramento Kings. He also played for their G League team, the Reno Bighorns.
Playing for Rio Grande Valley Vipers (2018–2019)
In August 2018, Bruno signed a training camp contract with the Houston Rockets. He later joined their G League team, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Joining the Memphis Grizzlies (2019–2020)
On January 24, 2019, Bruno signed a short contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. He later signed a longer contract with them. On March 25, he scored a career-high 24 points. He also got his first "double-double" (scoring double digits in two different stats, like points and rebounds). He also played for the Grizzlies' G League team, the Memphis Hustle.
Back with the Houston Rockets (2020–2021)
On February 6, 2020, Bruno was traded back to the Houston Rockets. He was later released by the Rockets in January 2021.
Playing in France with Limoges CSP (2021)
In February 2021, Bruno signed with Limoges CSP in France. He averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds per game there.
Success with São Paulo FC (2021–2022)
On August 12, 2021, Bruno signed with São Paulo FC in Brazil. He helped São Paulo win the 2021–22 BCL Americas championship. This was the team's first big international title. Bruno was amazing in this tournament. He averaged almost 24 points and 11 rebounds. He also led the league in blocks per game. He was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the BCL Americas tournament. Later, he was also named the MVP of the 2021–22 NBB season in Brazil.
After this great year, Bruno played in the 2022 NBA Summer League with the Utah Jazz. He briefly signed with the Boston Celtics in August 2022 but was released in September.
The 2022–23 Season
In November 2022, Bruno joined the Mexico City Capitanes in the NBA G League. He played two games for them.
On January 5, 2023, Bruno signed with Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany. He helped Ulm win the German championship in 2023. He was a very important player for them. After winning the championship, he left the team.
In June 2023, Bruno signed a contract with Umana Reyer Venezia in Italy.
Time with Partizan Belgrade (2023–2024)
On November 7, 2023, Bruno signed with Partizan Belgrade in Serbia. During the 2023–24 season, he averaged about 9 points and 4 rebounds in EuroLeague games. In June 2024, Bruno left the team during the playoffs. The team's president later said Bruno would stay for the next season, but the team did not win any trophies that season.
Playing for Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv (2024–Present)
On August 30, 2024, Bruno Caboclo signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv B.C. in Israel.
National Team Career
Bruno Caboclo has played for the senior Brazilian national basketball team. He played in the 2017 FIBA AmeriCup, the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup, and the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Bruno also played for Brazil at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. In one game against Japan, he scored 33 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. He was the first player since 1972 to have more than 30 points and 15 rebounds in an Olympic game!
